We moved to Part-y-Seal 30 years ago and have been working hard to restore the house ever since. In that time we have also cleared a large area of ground and developed our extensive kitchen garden. Here, we enjoy growing our fruit and vegetables organically, both for ourselves and our guests. We try to  produce crops for eating all year round.

Our  bed and breakfast rooms are en-suite with a choice of super-king, four poster, twin beds or family rooms – all have magnificent views.

Guests are welcome to eat outside in summer, or by the log fires in winter. You truly relaxing break will start with a cream tea which is complimentary, if you book directly with us.

Red kites are nesting in our big cedar tree which is just yards from the house. These majestic birds can be viewed from two of the guest bedrooms, the tea rooms and also the gardens.

Part-y-Seal House

Part-y-Seal house is mainly Georgian and built of stone. If you are sitting on the terrace and look up, you will see a gable in the centre of the roof, above a pretty round-topped window. Lower down, you will notice a portico supported by four Doric columns.

The oldest part of the house, which contains the striking, wood panelled room, (where we serve our Christmas High Teas) is thought to be Tudor.

Book Directly with Us

Book directly with us and you will receive a complimentary cream tea when you arrive.

Well-behaved Dogs

We welcome well-behaved dogs to stay with us at Part-y-Seal and do not add an extra charge for this. We simply ask that guests bring their own pet bedding and politely request that they clear up after their pet.

Part 2 – A Time of Hope

His latest work, ‘Windsong’, is a sweeping historical saga which charts the adventures of a young Welsh man, from his humble farm in the hills to the sultry sugar plantations of Jamaica. The story includes his adventures from the back streets of Bristol, to the slave trade in Africa, and the American War of Independence before returning to his Welsh roots. Both books can be bought here at Part-y-Seal and signed copies are available.
