Our popular relaxation events return for 2020!
Why not carve out some time for you?
These relaxation events are a great way to start incorporating mindfulness and peace into everyday life.

Katrina, (Katrina Surya Kalkwarf Sounding into Stillness) our fantastic sound healer, will be leading the guided meditation and sound bath.

Qualified massage therapists Tanya Ong and Sophie Morgan will be providing mini massages during the session.

Every guided meditation Katrina creates will be unique to that event. She will also use voice, singing bowls, zen drum, a flute, and sometimes even a harmonium to create a multi layered sound that will help you drift into a relaxed state of consciousness.

The relaxation will be deeply nurturing and restoring. All you need to do is lie down (or sit if you prefer) and make yourself comfortable. Absolutely no physical effort or previous experience is required.

Whilst you are drifting away, experience an optional light massage from a qualified massage therapist to really help you de-stress.

After the hour session ends, and you’ve floated back to earth, indulge in a cream tea (GF and vegan options available).

No experience at meditation necessary!


Order of Events:

9.30-9.45 am: Arrival, and set up your relaxation station.

9.50am: Welcome and introduction.

10am : Sound bath & meditation begins.

During this time, mini massages will take place in the
event room.

11am: Cream teas will be served. Afterwards, feel free to stay as long as you like and soak in the atmosphere.

Please bring: At least 2 cushions or pillows, and a blanket.

*Extra thick Yoga mats will be provided*

Zen Yoga Workshops & Massage

Face Yoga – Relaxation – Massage – Lunch

Face Yoga – The Danielle Collins method is a combination of face exercises, face massage, face acupressure and face relaxation, all done by yourself. This facial workout is suitable for everyone – no experience necessary. Touted as the natural face lift, this will give you the exercises needed to tone your facial muscles.

Afterwards we invite you to participate in a guided relaxation – Yoga Nidra. This powerful meditation technique is deeply relaxing. During this time, a mini massage will take place by massage therapist, Tanya Ong.

Lunch will be served afterwards. Yoga mats provided. Please bring a blanket and 2 x cushions/pillows for the Yoga Nidra.

Intermediate Yoga – Yoga Nidra – Massage – Cream tea

This will be a more challenging class, suitable for those already experienced in yoga. Jane will show you how to make the most out of every move, allowing you to explore your abilities with her expert tuition.

Jane’s fun and informal way of teaching ensures you will have a memorable afternoon, finishing with a Yoga Nidra and mini massage for everyone.

Cream teas will be served afterwards. Yoga mats provided. Please bring a blanket and 2 x cushions/pillows for the Yoga Nidra.

Day retreat at Part-y-Seal

For the first time we are excited to be offering Day retreats at Part-y-Seal!

Yoga – guided meditation – massage – food

During this time, all attendees will have exclusive use and access to Part-y-Seal.

In the morning, there will be a nurturing yoga session led by Jane Morgan-Jones from Zenspace yoga which will be suitable for all levels, finishing with a Yoga Nidra (a deep state of conscious rest) & a short massage by massage therapist Tanya Ong from Green T Therapy – Massage in Monmouthshire

Afterwards, you are welcome to rest as long as you need too before coming back to earth for lunch.

In the afternoon you are free to explore the gardens, practice yoga or curl up with a book. There will be time to journal, sew or draw if you wish, or meditate & absorb the calm atmosphere here. Your time is your own.

Cream teas will be served in the afternoon, with all dietary options catered for.

The day will run from 10-4.30pm.

If you wish to extend your stay, we offer Bed & Breakfast starting from £55 for a single and £85 for a double. Advance booking recommended.

There will be a maximum of 8 spaces available. The Yoga session, Yoga Nidra & massage, food and refreshments are included.
